Old Knight Istvan
Istvan is one of the few elderly Tarnished still left alive. He fights with a Dismounter carrying the Gravitas skill and wears weathered, corroded armour reinforced with hard scales.
Early on you can summon him in Coastal Cave to help against the demi-human chiefs. Later he becomes a target for the Recusants of Volcano Manor, and you hunt him down in Stormhill.
Questline
- Coastal Cave (optional). Summon him as a helper for the demi-human chiefs boss fight.
- Volcano Manor. After joining the Recusants, Tanith gives you your first contract, with Istvan as the target. His sign is in Stormhill.
- Next steps. Killing him unlocks the contract on Rileigh the Idle.
Notes & tips
- As a summon he has around 2,386 HP. As a target he gives 1,828 runes.
- Killing Istvan also lets Patches give you a contract on Great Horned Tragoth.
