War Counselor Iji
War Counselor Iji is a wise, gentle troll who forged weapons for the Carian royal family. He lives beside the Road to the Manor grace near the Kingsrealm Ruins in Liurnia of the Lakes, and he has known Ranni and Blaidd since they were children.
He sells a few items and lets you use his smithing table. Talk to him as Ranni’s story moves along, and he will tell you a lot about her and about the war that broke her family.

Questline
- Meet Iji beside the Road to the Manor grace. If Blaidd sent you, say so to unlock an extra item in his shop.
- After entering Ranni’s service, talk to his projection at Ranni’s Rise.
- After Radahn falls, visit him again for advice about Nokron.
- Late in Ranni’s questline, after Blaidd’s fate is settled, return to Iji and tell him.
Fate & endings
Iji does not survive the end of Ranni’s story. Reload the area after your last talk with him to find him fallen. His helm and Bell Bearing can be taken from his body.
Lore
Iji swore allegiance to Ranni alongside Blaidd when she gave up her body. Castellan Jerren of Redmane Castle also knows him well.
