Dropped by the Runebear in Deeproot Depths. It waits in a cave hidden behind a waterfall, northeast of the Deeproot Depths site of grace.
Item description & lore
A foul, swollen growth cut from someone’s face. It is said to come from the Prince of Death, heir of the golden bough and the first demigod to be counted among the Dead, whose ruined features belong to one who cannot truly die.
Notes & tips
- Counts as a variant of the Prince of Death’s Pustule, so the two cannot be equipped together.
- The talisman shows a twinned face of the Death Prince with blond hair and pale gold eyes, with a third eye on the upper part of the face.
- Sells for 1,000 runes.
