The Academy Glintstone Staff is a catalyst for sorceries with B scaling in Intelligence. It asks for 28 Intelligence, so it is a step up for a dedicated Int build that has outgrown its starting staff.

It carries no skill of its own. Its turquoise stone marks it as a tool reserved for sorcerers the academy has formally accepted.

Where to find it

Thops drops it. You can get it either by killing him at the Church of Irith or by finishing his questline, after which it can be found inside the Academy of Raya Lucaria near the Schoolhouse Classroom site of grace.

Glintstone Sorcerers that carry it also have a small chance (about 2%) to drop it.

This is the staff of the Academy of Raya Lucaria, set with a turquoise glintstone. Only sorcerers recognised by the academy were allowed to carry it.
