Cleanrot Spear

The Cleanrot Spear is a spear that splits its damage between physical and holy, and it has a small built-in shield that raises your immunity by 50 while you hold it. It asks for 16 Strength, 16 Dexterity and 14 Faith, with even D scaling across all three, so it fits a balanced Faith hybrid rather than a pure build.

Its unique skill, Sacred Phalanx, calls up a wall of golden spears in front of you. The winged golden blade belongs to the knights who fought beside Malenia, and the little shield is blessed against rot.

Where to find it

A rare drop (around 1%) from spear-wielding Cleanrot Knights. You can find them in places such as the Swamp of Aeonia in Caelid and Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.

Item description & lore

This was the weapon of the Cleanrot Knights, who served alongside Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Its small shield carries a hidden incantation that keeps rot at bay, and the skill draws on that same hidden power.

Notes & tips

  • Holding it gives a passive +50 boost to Immunity.
  • The drop rate is very low, so expect to farm for a while.
