Whirl, O Flame!

Whirl, O Flame! sends a spiralling stream of fire across the area in front of you. It can hit several times and passes through enemies, and charging it raises both damage and reach.

With only 13 Faith needed it is an easy early fire option for Faith builds.

Where to find it

Dropped by a Teardrop Scarab in northern Caelid, between the Caelem Ruins and Rotview Balcony sites of grace. The scarab is right behind the black carriage that holds the Greatsword.

Item description & lore

A superior prayer of the Fire Monks. Fire bewitches those who stare into it, which is why the guardians of the Flame came to worship it too.

Notes & tips

  • Costs 26 Stamina, or 34 when charged.
  • Can hit up to 4 times. Charging doubles its range.
  • Pierces through several enemies, but walls and solid obstacles stop it.
  • A guarding enemy takes reduced damage, but the stream still carries on to hit those behind.
