Vyke’s Dragonbolt brings down red lightning onto you and the weapon in your right hand. The weapon gains lightning damage, and your maximum equip load goes up, but you take more lightning damage while it lasts.

It needs 23 Faith and suits a melee Faith build that wants a buffed weapon and a bit more room for heavy gear.

An incantation of Vyke, a knight of the Roundtable Hold. Of all the knights, Vyke the Dragonspear was the one Lansseax held dearest.

Notes & tips

  • Costs 20 Stamina to cast on top of its FP cost.
  • Both buffs last 70 seconds. The weapon buff and the body buff are separate, so losing one does not remove the other.
  • The weapon buff’s lightning damage scales with your seal’s Faith-based incantation scaling.
  • The equip load bonus helps more the heavier you already are, for example 70% load drops to roughly 61%.
  • Keep the lowered lightning defence in mind against lightning-heavy enemies.
