Scorched Ruins
The Scorched Ruins are what is left of a Hornsent settlement on the Gravesite Plain, burnt during Messmer’s crusade. There is a Site of Grace here and a graveyard full of Shadow Undead, and a Furnace Golem stalks the area.
It is one of the first places most players reach, and it is worth a thorough look: the map of the plain sits on a Guide Stele just outside, and a chest at the top hides a talisman.

How to get there
Found on the Gravesite Plain. The Western Nameless Mausoleum lies to the west, and the Backhand Blade is in a small stone building to the north-northeast.
