Golden Hippopotamus

The Golden Hippopotamus is a giant beast inside the Shadow Keep. Golden hippos live near water all over the Land of Shadow, but this one can grow a mass of thorn-like fur on its back, a leftover of the Crucible’s vitality from before the land fell into shadow.

How to beat it

The hippo charges, bites and rolls around. At half health it grows thorns on its back and starts rolling across the arena. Stay to its side, avoid the rolls, and use fire or lightning if you can.
