Decaying Ekzykes

Decaying Ekzykes is a rotting dragon that patrols the fields near the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in southern Caelid. It hated the warriors who ate dragon hearts, and it still guards the way to the cathedral against them.

The rot has eaten it away: it takes much more damage than other dragons. But its breath spreads scarlet rot in huge clouds.

How to beat it

Stay out of the rot clouds at all costs. Fight on Torrent, attack its sides and back, and ride away when it breathes. Bring Preserving Boluses. Because it is so vulnerable, a few good fire attacks go a long way.
