Deathbird
Deathbirds are tall, skeletal birds that stalk the land at night, leaning on a cane like old men. They are keepers of the ghostflame that once burned the dead, from a time before the Erdtree, and they are part of the world of Those Who Live in Death.
You meet the first one in Stormhill near the Warmaster’s Shack. Others appear in the Weeping Peninsula, in Liurnia of the Lakes and in the Capital Outskirts.

How to beat it
Deathbirds lean, hop and swing their canes in long arcs, and they can leap high and slam down. Stay at their side and behind them, and attack their head when you can for extra damage.
Holy damage works brilliantly. Holy Water Pots, crafted from Tarnished Golden Sunflowers, are an easy way to bring it.

All Deathbirds are said to be the offspring of the Twinbird, an envoy of an outer god of Death.
