Pure sorcerers win fights before they start. This build pushes Intelligence to 80 and pairs Lusat's Glintstone Staff with some of the strongest sorceries in the game. When something gets too close, the Dark Moon Greatsword gives you a beautiful and surprisingly strong melee answer.

Intelligence is your damage stat for both spells and the Dark Moon Greatsword. Mind at 38 gives you a healthy FP pool, because heavy spells drain it quickly. Vigor at 52 is lower than a melee build, so keep your distance and do not get greedy.
Weapons
- Lusat's Glintstone Staff at +10. It raises sorcery damage a lot but also raises FP costs, so manage your Cerulean flasks.
- Dark Moon Greatsword at +10. Its skill turns the blade into a moonlight sword that fires waves of light on heavy attacks.
Sorceries
- Comet Azur: a huge beam that melts bosses when you have room to cast it.
- Rock Sling: cheap and strong, great for most of the game.
- Carian Slicer: a quick close-range blade for enemies that rush you.
- Terra Magica: a circle on the ground that boosts magic damage while you stand in it.
- Rennala's Full Moon: a slow homing moon that also lowers enemy magic resistance.
Talismans
- Graven-Mass Talisman: a straight boost to sorcery damage.
- Magic Scorpion Charm: more magic damage in exchange for taking more damage.
- Godfrey Icon: boosts charged spells, which includes Comet Azur when you hold the cast.
- Radagon Icon: shortens cast times so you get more spells out between attacks.
Armor
We used the light Spellblade set. A sorcerer barely needs poise, so pick anything light that keeps you well under 70% equip load.
Spirit Ash
Latenna the Albinauric shoots arrows from a distance and keeps enemies busy while you line up spells.
How to play it
- Open fights with Terra Magica, then cast from inside the circle.
- Use Rock Sling as your everyday spell and save Comet Azur for big openings.
- Keep a Cerulean flask ready. FP runs out fast with Lusat’s staff.
- If a boss rushes you, switch to the Dark Moon Greatsword instead of trying to cast point-blank.
