A spellblade mixes swordplay with sorcery. Moonveil is a katana that scales with both Dexterity and Intelligence, and its skill, Transient Moonlight, fires a wave of magic after a quick draw. Add a few sorceries and you can fight at any range.

Weapons
- Moonveil at +10, the centrepiece of the build.
- Meteorite Staff, which cannot be upgraded but boosts gravity sorceries like Rock Sling and needs only modest stats.
Sorceries
- Glintblade Phalanx: summons floating blades that attack on their own while you fight.
- Rock Sling: strong, cheap and boosted by the Meteorite Staff.
- Carian Greatsword: a big magic sword swing for close range.
Talismans
- Shard of Alexander: makes Transient Moonlight hit harder.
- Carian Filigreed Crest: lowers the FP cost of weapon skills.
- Magic Scorpion Charm: more magic damage for more damage taken.
- Rotten Winged Sword Insignia: a combo bonus for your katana strings.
Armor
We used the Carian Knight set, which suits the build and keeps you at a medium roll.
Spirit Ash
Black Knife Tiche is fast and safe, and leaves you room to cast.
How to play it
- Cast Glintblade Phalanx first, then close in while the blades fire.
- Use Transient Moonlight as your main damage skill. It reaches further than it looks.
- Swap to the staff for Rock Sling on enemies that are hard to approach.
- Watch your FP. Spells and skills share the same bar.
Later on you can swap to a stronger staff from our weapons list once your Intelligence is high enough.
