Where to find it

It is in a locked chest at the base of the Chair-Crypt in Night’s Sacred Ground, part of Nokron, Eternal City. The chest is guarded by a Mimic Troll and several Silver Mimic Tears.

The chest only opens for Ranni’s followers, so agree to serve her at Ranni’s Rise first. Nokron itself only becomes reachable after you defeat Starscourge Radahn, when a falling star crashes into Limgrave and opens the way down.

Item description & lore

The twisted blade has a spiralling, crescent-shaped edge that glows faintly at the tip, and its crossguard arches downward like the Rune of Death. It closely resembles the Sacred Relic Sword, made from the remains of Radagon, which hints that it too was once a vessel for the Elden Ring. Nox warriors may have wielded it against Metyr, Mother of Fingers.
