Bestial Sanctum

The Bestial Sanctum stands at the northernmost tip of Caelid. It is the home of Gurranq, Beast Clergyman, a strange, hulking figure who hungers for Deathroot and rewards you each time you bring him some.

A Black Blade Kindred, a winged gargoyle with a black sword, guards the front of the sanctum. If you drop down the cliff on the western side, you can also find the Cinquedea and the Dragoncrest Shield Talisman.

How to get there

Cross the Dragonbarrow to its northern tip. D, Hunter of the Dead is the one who tells you about Gurranq.

Lore

The architecture and the beastmen’s bodies around the sanctum look a lot like those in Crumbling Farum Azula, hinting at where Gurranq truly comes from.
