Black Blade conjures an illusory black sword, then you leap forward in a spinning slash that also sends out a wave of light. You can follow up with one more attack. It deals holy damage.

It needs a hefty 46 Faith and two memory slots, so it is an endgame spell for pure Faith builds.

Where to find it

Trade the Remembrance of the Black Blade, dropped by Maliketh, the Black Blade, with Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold. You can also duplicate the remembrance at a Wandering Mausoleum, but only one reward per playthrough either way.

Item description & lore

Drawn from the remembrance of Maliketh. His blade once held Destined Death: besides wounding, it lowers foes’ maximum HP and drains their HP for a brief moment.
