Lightning Strike

Lightning Strike calls down a bolt that splits and spreads across the ground in an uneven line of strikes. It can be cast again and again.

It needs 28 Faith, so it fits dedicated Faith builds that want lightning damage.

Where to find it

Dropped by a Scarab at the bottom of the ravine that splits the Weeping Peninsula in half. Use the stone platforms on either side to get down safely, and watch out for the large bats and the lightning that keeps striking the area.

Item description & lore

An incantation of the ancient dragon cult of the capital. The ancient dragons, ancestors of today’s dragons, had scales of stone and fought with lightning, and they are said to have once attacked Leyndell.

Notes & tips

  • Boosted by holding a Gravel Stone Seal (up to two) and slightly by each piece of Death Knight armour.
  • Hitting water or an enemy standing in water adds a small extra shock that can catch nearby foes.
