Highland Axe

A single-bladed axe with even Strength and Dexterity scaling and the War Cry skill. Its special trait is that it strengthens roar attacks, which makes it a fun pick for builds that lean on war cries and roars.

The highland warriors who used it would shout their names before a fight.

Where to find it

Found in Stormveil Castle, right under the large painting of Godfrey and Serosh. Take the elevator down from the Rampart Tower Site of Grace to reach it. A Grafted Scion guards this area.

Item description & lore

Carried by the warriors of the highlands, who had the habit of announcing themselves loudly before charging in. The axe makes those cries hit harder.

Notes & tips

  • Boosts roar attacks by 10%, such as the empowered heavy attacks from Barbaric Roar or the projectile from Beast’s Roar.
  • Unlike the Roar Medallion, it does not boost breath and roar incantations such as Dragon Communion spells.
  • The boost only works while the axe is in one of your active hand slots.
