Inseparable Sword
The Inseparable Sword is a greatsword with an even split of physical and holy damage, and it deals extra damage to Those Who Live in Death. Its skill, Sacred Blade, adds holy power to the blade. It wants moderate Strength and Dexterity plus 20 Faith, so it is a solid option for a Faith-leaning quality build.

Where to find it
It is tied to the death of D, Beholder of Death, and there are two ways to get it:
- The usual way: finish the questlines of both D brothers and of Fia, Deathbed Companion. The sword then appears where Fia sat in the Deeproot Depths.
- The quicker way: kill D, Hunter of the Dead during your first meeting in Limgrave (this is your only chance) to get his Twinned Set, then give the armour to D, Beholder of Death. After reloading he turns hostile where he sat, and killing him gives you the sword along with another Twinned Set.
Item description & lore
Forged from silver and gold together, this is a sacred weapon for hunting Those Who Live in Death. The inseparable twins found comfort in the Golden Order, the only institution that did not shun them as cursed.
Notes & tips
- Uses a more vertical light-attack moveset shared with the Banished Knight’s Greatsword and the Knight’s Greatsword.
- Deals 20% bonus damage to Those Who Live in Death, and Sacred Blade adds a much bigger bonus on top.
- It normally cannot be buffed, but still gets the bonus after using Sacred Blade.
