Staff of the Avatar

A colossal ceremonial staff that deals Physical and Holy damage. Its skill, Erdtree Slam, has you jump high and smash down, releasing golden shockwaves all around you.

It needs 34 Strength and 24 Faith, scaling with Strength first and Faith second, so it suits a Strength/Faith build.

Item description & lore

The staff shows the Erdtree in its former glory. The avatars that carry it appeared after the Elden Ring was shattered, set on protecting the Minor Erdtrees as the great tree withered.

Notes & tips

  • Also wielded by Erdtree Avatars.
  • Erdtree Slam is the strongest of the ground slam skills.
  • See also the scarlet rot version, the Rotten Staff.
