Barrier of Gold sharply reduces magic damage for you and allies within a few metres: 60% for 70 seconds (20% in PvP). You can hold the cast to delay it.

It needs 24 Faith and is a strong defensive buff for Faith builds and co-op groups facing sorcerers.

Where to find it

Dropped by an invisible Scarab rolling along the path patrolled by a Crucible Tree Knight in Leyndell, Royal Capital, north of the Erdtree Sanctuary grace and past the elevator going down. You lose the chance to get it once Maliketh, the Black Blade is defeated.
