Bloody Slash has you drop into a low stance, coat your blade in your own blood and release a wide, rending slash of blood. Using it costs you some HP.

It grants the Blood affinity, which suits an Arcane build, and works on swords except colossal ones.

A guaranteed drop from a bloodcrazed Godrick Knight at Fort Haight in eastern Limgrave.

Once you own it, Smithing Master Hewg can duplicate it in exchange for Lost Ashes of War.
