Latenna’s Questline
Latenna the Albinauric is an archer who set out with her wolf Lobo from the lands of Miquella’s Haligtree, a refuge for Albinaurics. By the time you find her in Liurnia, the servants of Sir Gideon Ofnir have hunted her down for a medallion she refused to give up. Her wolf is dead and she is crippled, angry and very tired of Tarnished.
Bring her proof that Old Albus trusted you, and she becomes one of the best spirit summons in the game: an archer on wolfback. In return she asks one thing: carry her to the far north so she can finish what she started. It is a short quest with a lovely, bittersweet ending.

- Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, from Latenna at the Apostate Derelict
- Access to the hidden lands of the Haligtree, once both medallion halves are joined
Walkthrough
- Get the right half of the medallion from Albus. In the Village of the Albinaurics, find Old Albus hiding as a pot and talk to him. He gives you the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right) and asks you to pass it on to Latenna. See Albus’s Questline for where to find him.
- Reach the Slumbering Wolf’s Shack. Clear the Lakeside Crystal Cave in Liurnia of the Lakes to get to the Slumbering Wolf’s Shack, where Latenna sits. Without Albus’s medallion, she insists she has no medallion at all.
- Show her Albus’s medallion. With the right half in your pocket, she believes you and asks you to take her to the land of the Haligtree. She chooses to become a spirit so you can carry her. Pick up her spirit ashes, Latenna the Albinauric, from the shack.
- Fetch the left half at Castle Sol. In the Mountaintops of the Giants, Latenna speaks up as you get close to Castle Sol. Defeat Commander Niall, carry on past his arena and take the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Left).
- Open the way north. Together, the two halves open the hidden route to the Haligtree. Use the joined medallion at the Grand Lift of Rold.
- Bring her to the Apostate Derelict. Travel through the Consecrated Snowfield, past the liturgical town of Ordina, to the Apostate Derelict in the far north. Approach the giant sleeping Albinauric, Phillia, and Latenna appears. Talk to her until she is done and she gives you a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
Missable steps & failure conditions
- No real lock-outs. The quest has no known way to fail apart from killing Latenna yourself.
- Either order works. If you pick up the left half at Castle Sol before visiting her, Latenna will already have passed when you arrive, and her spirit ashes simply lie waiting for you at the shack.
- Do not forget the ending. The smithing stone only comes from talking to her at the Apostate Derelict, tucked away in the far north of the snowfield and easy to miss.
Endings & consequences
- Old Albus. His only wish is that his medallion half reaches Latenna. Showing it to her completes both their stories.
- Gideon. Sir Gideon Ofnir’s men are the ones who attacked her and killed Lobo while hunting for the medallion.
- Phillia and the Albinaurics. At the Apostate Derelict, Latenna gives the birthing droplet to Phillia, hoping she will bring new life to all Albinaurics. Afterwards she promises to fight beside you until the end, and asks to be laid to rest next to Lobo when it is all over.
