Eagle
Eagles are wild birds, not fighters. They sit on cliff faces and ledges, and the moment you threaten them they take off instead of fighting back. Their four-toed feet are a handy crafting material.
You spot them in Limgrave, around the Divine Tower of Limgrave, in Liurnia of the Lakes and down in the Siofra River. They also live in the Realm of Shadow.

How to beat it
There is no fight here, only a chase. An eagle dies to a single hit, so the trick is reaching it before it flies away. Sneak up slowly, or knock it down from range with a bow or a quick spell.
Lore
In the Lands Between, birds with four toes were taken as a sign of good luck, which is why their feet are prized.
