Giant Miranda Sprout
Giant Miranda Sprouts, also called Miranda Blossoms, are the fully grown form of the carnivorous Miranda flowers. They stay rooted in place, usually surrounded by smaller Miranda Sprouts, and they slam the ground, spray poison mist and call down a shower of light on anyone nearby. Most are pink, but their colour and power change with where they grow: there are gold, blighted, crystal, putrid and frenzied ones too. The crystal kind casts a glintstone sorcery in place of the shower of light.
You find them in Perfumer’s Grotto, Liurnia of the Lakes, the Weeping Peninsula, the Waypoint Ruins and the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, and in Scadu Altus in the Realm of Shadow. The one in Tombsward Cave is a boss: Miranda the Blighted Bloom. They never grow on the Consecrated Snowfield or the Mountaintops of the Giants.

How to beat it
Fire is the answer. Miranda flowers hate it, and slashing weapons work well too, while strike and holy damage are much less effective. Clear the small sprouts first so they do not poison you from behind, then stay mobile so you are not standing in the poison cloud. Careful with the frenzied ones: hit them with fire and they start thrashing and slamming the ground around them.
Lore
The perfumers of Leyndell have grown Miranda flowers since ancient times. Their unscattered pollen, gathered with great care, has long been a key ingredient in healing aromatics.
