Great Dragonfly

Great dragonflies are oversized insects that buzz around wherever there is water. They are wildlife more than real threats, and they go down almost as soon as you touch them.

You see them in Limgrave, Liurnia of the Lakes, the Altus Plateau, Mt. Gelmir, the Swamp of Aeonia, Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow and the Consecrated Snowfield, and again in Scadu Altus in the Realm of Shadow. Look closely and you may notice that they look a lot like Astel, Naturalborn of the Void.

How to beat it

There is no real fight here. A single hit is enough, so the only trick is reaching one while it hovers. Wait for it to drift close, or knock it down with a bow or a quick spell.

Lore

These dragonflies were once a common sight across the land. Their heads have the power to cancel out poison, and people gathered them to make neutralizing boluses.
