Stonesword Key Locations

Every Stonesword Key in Elden Ring: merchants that sell them, keys found in the world, and which imp statues are worth unsealing.

A Stonesword Key breaks the seal on an imp statue, opening hidden rooms, dungeons and paths. Each key stays stuck in the statue once used, so it’s a one-time item. You can buy them from several merchants and pick a handful up in the world.

How to use Stonesword Keys

Walk up to a sealed imp statue and interact with it. Most statues take one key, but some need two, and the key is gone either way. Because you never get a large supply, it’s worth knowing what lies behind a seal before you spend one. You can hold up to 99.

Tips

  • The Keepsake key is a solid pick if you want to open a seal early in Limgrave.
  • The Twin Maiden Husks and the merchants in the Weeping Peninsula and Siofra River each sell three, so buying from them is the reliable way to stock up.
  • Count before you commit: the Deep Siofra Well platform needs two keys at once.
  • Don’t confuse these with the Imbued Sword Key, which is used for the waygates at the Four Belfries.
