Castle Morne
Castle Morne stands at the southernmost point of the Lands Between, looking out over the sea from the tip of the Weeping Peninsula. It feels like a smaller Stormveil Castle: walls, courtyards, a lift, a few clever shortcuts and a lot of angry people inside.
The castle is in chaos. Godrick the Grafted put Castellan Edgar in charge of the garrison, but the Misbegotten who were held here as slaves have risen up and taken much of it. The fight between them is still going on as you walk in. At the bottom waits their champion, the Leonine Misbegotten, who now carries the castle’s old treasure: the Grafted Blade Greatsword.

Lore
Long before Godrick, the castle belonged to a clan of warriors who rose against Queen Marika. Godfrey, the first Elden Lord, crushed them here. The lone survivor reforged his fallen comrades’ swords into a single blade and swore revenge, but lost, and his sword became the treasure of the keep. The sword monument outside the castle commemorates that duel.
