A Golden Seed raises the number of uses on your Sacred Flasks, which means more sips between rests. They usually sit at the foot of a small glowing golden tree, and a few come from bosses or as a starting gift. Below is every location, grouped by region.
How Golden Seeds work
Golden Seeds are spent at a grace, not from the inventory. Rest at any Site of Grace, open the flask option in the grace menu and spend the seed there. The upgrade raises your total number of flask charges, which you then split however you like between the Flask of Crimson Tears and the Flask of Cerulean Tears. They stack nicely with Sacred Tears, which make each sip heal more instead of giving you more sips.

Tips
- If you want a head start, the Golden Seed Keepsake gives you an extra flask upgrade before you even leave the Chapel of Anticipation.
- Stormhill Shack, Fort Haight and the Weeping Peninsula are all reachable very early, so you can bump your flask before taking on Margit.
- Tree Spirits are worth fighting: both Ulcerated Tree Spirits and Putrid Tree Spirits show up again and again on this list as seed carriers.
- Pair seeds with Sacred Tears so you get more sips and stronger ones.
