Ainsel River

The Ainsel River is the second of the two great rivers beneath the Lands Between, flowing under Liurnia of the Lakes. It is darker and quieter than the Siofra River, and much of it only matters once you follow Ranni the Witch‘s questline down here.

The northern part holds Nokstella, the second Eternal City of the Nox. Further down lies the Lake of Rot, a vast lake of scarlet rot, and at its far edge the Grand Cloister, where Astel, Naturalborn of the Void waits.
