Mistwood

The Mistwood is a thick forest in eastern Limgrave. It is not marked by name on the map, but you will know it when you are in it. The Mistwood Ruins and the Minor Erdtree (Limgrave) are both inside it.

Watch out for wildlife. Bears roam the woods, and so does a Runebear, which is a nasty surprise early on. On friendlier terms, you can meet Blaidd the Half-Wolf here and shop with the Nomadic Merchant (Eastern Limgrave). A Scarab carries an Ash of War, and there is a Guide Stele too, with the Map: Limgrave, East to pick up.
