The Smoldering Church stands on the border between Limgrave and Caelid, and it never stops burning. For many players, this is the first grace they find in Caelid, and a moment to breathe before the red skies begin.

Be careful, though: Anastasia, Tarnished-Eater, an invader with a huge butcher’s knife, can show up here. Beat her for the Sacred Scorpion Charm.
