Stone Coffin Fissure

The Stone Coffin Fissure is a huge crack in the earth at the very south of the Cerulean Coast. You climb down past stalagmites, bone piles and old stone coffins, deeper and deeper, until you reach the Garden of Deep Purple at the bottom.

It is an eerie descent. Putrescent Rotmounds and Bloodfiends roam the depths, and two of Miquella‘s guardians wait down here: the pale spirit of a Misbegotten Warrior and a golden Misbegotten Crusader. At the very end, the Putrescent Knight guards the garden.

How to get there

Head to the southernmost point of the Cerulean Coast and find the pit. Facing south, steps on the right lead down into it; follow the path and you are in the fissure. A Troll tossing sleep pots waits near the entrance and drops a Hefty Cracked Pot. On the cliffs above the entrance sits a corpse with St. Trina Disciple’s Cookbook 2.

Lore

Stone coffins carrying the remains of tainted heroes were sent off to sea long ago, and their leaking contents gathered in this fissure as putrescence. Here Miquella cast away St. Trina, his other half, and left a golden Misbegotten to watch over her.
