FP

FP in Elden Ring is the energy for spells and weapon skills. How Mind raises it, an FP table and the talismans that increase it.

FP is the blue bar you spend on spells and weapon skills. If you do not have enough, the spell or skill will not work properly. You raise it by leveling Mind.

How to get more FP

You start with 40 FP at 1 Mind. Gains are small at first, pick up from the mid-teens, are biggest from 36 to 50 at about 7 per point, and drop to only 2 or 3 per point after 60. You refill FP with the Flask of Cerulean Tears or by resting at a Site of Grace.

Mind Max FP
1 40
10 78
15 95
20 121
30 173
35 200
40 235
50 300
60 350
80 401
99 450

Which starting classes have the most FP

Starting FP follows Mind: the Astrologer (15) has the most, then the Prophet (14) and Confessor (13). The Hero has the least with 9.

Talismans that increase FP

Anything that adds Mind, like Marika’s Scarseal or the Navy Hood, also raises FP. Some crowns, such as the Haima Glintstone Crown and Hierodas Glintstone Crown, cost you 10% FP.
