Hand Ballista

The Hand Ballista is a Ballista, a heavy ranged weapon that only fires greatbolts. It hits hard with physical damage but needs serious Strength (30) and some Dexterity (14), so it fits a Strength character who wants a punishing ranged option.

It was built as a portable version of the siege engines used against castle walls, and it feels exactly like that.

Where to find it

Found in a chest at the top of the Forest Lookout Tower on the Weeping Peninsula, just west of the Bridge of Sacrifice when coming from Limgrave.
