Ruins of Unte

The Ruins of Unte once belonged to the Hornsent. Today they are best known for their Furnace Golems: one is already awake, while the other stands dormant and blocks the courtyard.

To get past, climb one of the outer ruins and toss a Hefty Furnace Pot into the sleeping golem’s bowl. That wakes it up and opens the courtyard, where a shrine holds the main prize. The ruins also hold one of the altars for the Stone-Sheathed Sword.

Sites of Grace
Notable loot
Giant Golden Arc (chest in the courtyard shrine)
Revered Spirit Ash (altar by the stone wall southeast of the ruins)
Stone-Sheathed Sword (altar, if not taken elsewhere)
Oil-Soaked Tear and Bloodsucking Cracked Tear (from the Furnace Golems)
Furnace Visage (from wrecked golems around the ruins)

How to get there

The ruins lie in Scadu Altus, near the Eastern Nameless Mausoleum.

Lore

The ruins were once a hornsent settlement. The altar here is one of three, together with those in the Fog Rift Catacombs and the Ancient Ruins of Rauh, used to turn the Stone-Sheathed Sword into the Sword of Light or the Sword of Darkness.
