Ash of War: Carian Retaliation

Carian Retaliation lets you swing your shield to cancel incoming sorceries and incantations, and turns that magic into glintblades that fly back at the caster. It also works as a normal parry.

It grants the Magic affinity, so it suits an Intelligence build, and works on small and medium shields.

Where to find it

Sold for 3,000 Runes by Pidia in Caria Manor in Liurnia of the Lakes. You need to defeat Royal Knight Loretta to reach him.

If Pidia dies before you buy it, give Pidia’s Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks and buy it from them for the same price.

Once you own it, Smithing Master Hewg can duplicate it in exchange for Lost Ashes of War.
