Frenzied Flame Proscription
The Frenzied Flame Proscription lies at the very bottom of a catacomb in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, deep under Leyndell, Royal Capital. It is a haunting place: the halls are full of mummified Nomads strumming their instruments, and there is no boss here at all.
Behind a great stone door scarred by burning fingerprints wait the Three Fingers. Meeting them gives you the Frenzied Flame and locks you into the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending. The only way to undo it is Miquella’s Needle. Taking the flame also makes Melina leave you for good, so think hard before you walk through that door.
If you have been following her questline, Hyetta waits in the hall across from the grace and urges you onward. Talk to her again after you receive the flame.

Frenzied Flame Proscription
How to get there
- Defeat Mohg, the Omen at the Cathedral of the Forsaken in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds.
- Strike the illusory wall at the altar to reveal a path leading down.
- The way on is sealed until you have beaten Morgott, the Omen King.
- Work your way down the beams, then jump to the bottom. The floor gives way and drops you at the grace.
Opposite the grace, one illusory wall hides a chest with a Rune Arc, and another opens a shortcut to the Deeproot Depths near the Root-Facing Cliffs grace.
Lore
The Nomads here were once the Great Caravan, a merchant clan accused of heresy and buried alive deep underground. In their despair they called on the Frenzied Flame, and the Three Fingers answered.
The fingerprint door only opens once, and only if you take off all of your armor first. Even if you have already burned the Erdtree with Melina, you can still meet the Three Fingers. A neat trick: the Nomads’ frenzy attack can smash the obstacles hiding some of the loot here.
