Ancient Dragons’ Lightning Spear

This incantation drops a spear of red lightning from above and drives it into the ground. The impact sends out a shockwave and trails of lightning in four directions.

It needs 32 Faith and is a strong pick for lightning-focused Faith builds.

Where to find it

Give the Ancient Dragon Prayerbook to Brother Corhyn or Miriel, Pastor of Vows, then buy it for 8,500 Runes. If the tutor you gave the book to dies, the Twin Maiden Husks will sell it once you hand over that tutor’s Bell Bearing. If both Corhyn and Miriel die before you hand over the book, the spell is lost until your next journey.

Item description & lore

A secret art of the capital’s ancient dragon cult. Red lightning was, according to legend, the weapon of the ancient dragons.

Notes & tips

  • Boosted by up to two Gravel Stone Seals and slightly by Death Knight armour pieces.
  • The direct hit and the shockwave cannot hit the same target, but the spreading trails can.
