Bloodflame Blade

Bloodflame Blade coats the weapon in your right hand with bloodflame. Hits keep building blood loss for a brief moment after they land, and you can cast it while moving, so it slots neatly into an aggressive melee rhythm.

It asks for a little Faith and Arcane, which makes it a natural fit for bleed-focused Arcane builds that still carry a seal.

Where to find it

Dropped by a Scarab northwest of Rose Church in Liurnia of the Lakes. It is a guaranteed drop, so just catch the little beetle before it vanishes.

Item description & lore

This is one of the Blood Oath incantations, gifts handed out by the Lord of Blood to those who follow him.

Notes & tips

  • Can be cast while on the move, so you rarely need to stop to refresh it.
  • The extra blood loss buildup only lingers for a very short time after each hit.
