Law of Causality
Law of Causality is a defensive buff with teeth. It places a small ring of causality around you for two minutes, and if you take five hits within a few seconds, you burst with a holy explosion that damages everything close by.
It asks for 29 Intelligence rather than Faith, so it suits Golden Order hybrid characters who like to play close and tank a few blows.

One of the core fundamentals of the Golden Order. Its followers explain the Order through regression and causality, with causality being the pull between meanings that binds all things together.
Notes & tips
- Costs 20 Stamina to cast.
- The buff lasts 120 seconds; you must be damaged five times within seven seconds to trigger the explosion.
- Blocking with a shield that has 100% guarded damage negation will not trigger it. Shields close to 100%, like the Lordsworn’s Shield, let you trigger it while taking very little damage.
