Briars of Punishment

Briars of Punishment makes you cut yourself on thorns to send a crawling line of blood briars along the ground. They chase a single target and stab up from below, building up blood loss. You can cast it over and over.

It runs on Faith (21 needed) and fits blood-themed builds that do not mind paying with their own health. Each cast costs some HP and puts a little blood loss on you too.

Where to find it

In the Mountaintops of the Giants, by a dead tree on the western cliffs at the southern end of the giant stone bridge. The area is full of Guilty enemies.

Item description & lore

An aberrant spell found by exiled criminals, hated more than any other by the academy. The guilty, blinded by thorns, lived in endless darkness, and there they found the blood star.
