Grand Altar of Dragon Communion

The Grand Altar of Dragon Communion is a Site of Grace burning in a large dish next to the corpse of a colossal dragon whose heart was eaten long ago. It lies in the Southern Shore area at the Foot of the Jagged Peak in the Realm of Shadow.

The Dragon Communion Priestess keeps the altar, and this is where you can devour the Heart of Bayle. Only rams graze nearby, so it is a fairly calm place to rest.

How to get there

From the Gravesite Plain, go through the Dragon’s Pit, then head south at the clearing where a Jagged Peak Drake lies asleep. If you drop down near the dead dragon’s feet you reach Charo’s Hidden Grave.

Lore

A metal rod pierces the great dragon’s skull, and it is hinted that Dragonlord Placidusax was the one who killed it.
