Lightning Fortification

A simple, cheap buff that cuts the lightning damage you take for 90 seconds. With only 10 Faith needed, it fits almost any build that wants a little extra safety against lightning-heavy foes.

You can cast it on the move, so it is easy to slip in during a fight.

Where to find it

Sold for 7,500 Runes by Brother Corhyn after he moves to the Altus Plateau. If he dies first, give Corhyn’s Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks to buy it there. If you light the Forge of the Giants before it appears in his stock, it becomes unavailable for that playthrough.

Item description & lore

A prayer of the Two Fingers‘ faithful. Its text warns the Tarnished that walking the path set for them will make enemies of many groups in the Lands Between, which welcome no Tarnished.

Notes & tips

  • Reduces lightning damage taken by 35% (10% in PvP) for 90 seconds.
  • It reduces damage taken on top of your armor, rather than adding to your damage negation directly.
