Lightning Spear

Lightning Spear forms a golden bolt of lightning in your hand and throws it forward. Charging the cast adds extra damage, making it a dependable ranged attack.

With a low 17 Faith requirement it is a natural early pick for Faith builds, and a good fallback for any dragon cult caster.

Where to find it

Sold for 6,000 Runes by Brother Corhyn or Miriel, Pastor of Vows after giving either of them the Dragon Cult Prayerbook. If that teacher dies before you buy it, give their Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks. If both die before receiving the prayerbook, the spell is lost for that playthrough.

Item description & lore

A prayer of the capital’s ancient dragon cult. The cult began when Godwyn the Golden defeated the ancient dragon Fortissax and then befriended him.

Notes & tips

  • Costs 28 Stamina, or 36 when charged.
  • The Godfrey Icon boosts the charged version by 15%.
  • Each Gravel Stone Seal in an active hand boosts damage by 15% (two max).
