Black Flame

Black Flame throws a ball of black fire. Charging it boosts the damage and makes it explode. The flames keep burning away a small share of the target’s HP for a couple of seconds.

It needs 20 Faith and is a strong ranged attack for Faith builds, especially against large-HP enemies.

Where to find it

Give the Godskin Prayerbook to Brother Corhyn or Miriel, Pastor of Vows, then buy it for 7,500 Runes. If that tutor dies, the Twin Maiden Husks sell it once given their Bell Bearing. If both die before you hand over the book, it is lost until your next journey.

Item description & lore

A black flame incantation of the Godskin Apostles. Black flame is heavy, and keeps eating away at a foe’s HP after it hits.
