Sanguine Noble

Sanguine Nobles serve Mohg, Lord of Blood. They are part assassin, part preacher: they appear out of pools of blood to strike, and they spread the word of Mohg’s accursed blood. Each fights with a Bloody Helice in one hand and a Reduvia dagger in the other.

You find them in Liurnia of the Lakes, on the Altus Plateau and in large numbers at Mohgwyn Palace. One guards a chest with a Bloody Helice in the cellar of Writheblood Ruins. Another appears at the Second Church of Marika, but only when Bloody Finger Hunter Yura and Eleonora are not there.

How to beat it

Sanguine Nobles are fast and aggressive, and both their weapons build up blood loss. When blood loss goes off near them, they get a damage boost, so keep your own bleed meter under control and do not fight them next to other bleeding enemies.

The good news is that they suffer badly from bleed themselves. A bleed weapon or a few quick hits with a blood blade often ends the fight fast.

Lore

The Nobles act as Mohg’s assassins and missionaries, spreading the gospel of the accursed blood. The elaborate decorations on their shoulders show the noble rank they expect to receive once Mohg’s dynasty has been founded.
