Glintblade Phalanx
Glintblade Phalanx conjures an arch of magic swords above your head. They hover and wait, then shoot at enemies that come close. You can cast it while moving.
It needs 22 Intelligence. In normal exploration it is a bit slow and wasteful, but against a melee opponent in PvP it is a real deterrent: anyone rushing in eats a volley of blades.

One of the sorceries of the Carian royal family. It was granted to their enchanted knights, who wove it into their swordplay to keep up a constant rhythm of steel and magic.
Notes & tips
- The blades wait until an enemy gets close to melee range, then each fires once.
- They seem to last until they fire, even if you rest at a Site of Grace. Fast travel or bumping into a wall or ceiling removes them.
- Best value in PvP against players who like to close the gap.
