Remembrances

All Elden Ring Remembrances, the boss that drops each one, whether to trade them with Enia or use them for runes, and how to duplicate them.

Remembrances are special items you get from defeating the game’s major bosses. You can either consume one for a large pile of runes, or bring it to Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold and trade it for one of that boss’s unique weapons, spells or other items.

Runes or Enia?

Using a remembrance gives you runes on the spot, which is tempting early on. But the items Enia offers cannot be found anywhere else, and each remembrance only buys one of the two choices. A good habit is to hold on to every remembrance until you have looked at what it unlocks. Once you are sure you don’t need either reward, cash it in for runes.

A couple of examples of what is at stake: the Remembrance of the Grafted buys the Axe of Godrick or the Grafted Dragon, and the Remembrance of the Blasphemous buys the Blasphemous Blade or the Rykard’s Rancor spell.

Duplicating a remembrance

If you want both rewards from the same boss, you can. Wandering Mausoleums in the Lands Between and Remembrance Coffins in the Realm of Shadow can each copy one remembrance, and that works even if you already used the original. Each one only works once, so choose carefully.

  • Mausoleums that still have a bell can duplicate any remembrance.
  • The two mausoleums without bells at the Mausoleum Compound grace can only copy Legend remembrances, not shardbearer ones.
  • Remembrance Coffins in Shadow of the Erdtree can duplicate any remembrance.

Shardbearer vs. Legend

The shardbearer remembrances come from the demigods who held Great Runes. Everything else counts as a Legend remembrance, including all the ones from Shadow of the Erdtree. The difference mostly matters for the bell-less mausoleums mentioned above.
