Nepheli Loux’s Questline
Nepheli Loux is a Tarnished warrior with a pair of axes and a strong sense of justice. She was raised by Sir Gideon Ofnir, and she starts out doing his bidding in Stormveil Castle. What she sees in Liurnia turns her against him, and the rest of her story is about finding where she truly belongs.
Follow it through and Nepheli ends up on the throne of Stormveil as the new lord of Limgrave, with Gostoc at her side and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone for you. This page also covers Kenneth Haight, the would-be heir of Limgrave whose small side story ends in the same throne room.

Walkthrough
- Send Roderika to the Roundtable Hold. At Stormhill Shack, talk to Roderika. She gives you the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes, and if you bring her the Chrysalids’ Memento from Godrick’s grafting grounds in Stormveil, she moves to the Roundtable Hold. Simply entering Liurnia also moves her, but then you miss the ashes.
- Set up the Roundtable Hold. Talk to Gideon until he runs out of words, so he moves into his study. Then make Roderika a Spirit Tuner: ask Smithing Master Hewg about her, tell her what he said, and go back to Hewg and ask him to watch over her because it is what she wants. The wiki lists Roderika’s new role as a requirement for Nepheli’s later steps at the Hold, so it is worth doing early.
- Meet Nepheli in Stormveil Castle. Past the first two Stormhawks, on the path to the Secluded Cell Site of Grace, Nepheli waits in a small room. Talk to her until she has nothing more to say. This unlocks her summon sign outside the fog gate of Godrick the Grafted. Summoning her is optional, but it gives her different lines in the next step.
- Collect the Arsenal Charm. After Godrick falls, Nepheli stands just outside Gideon’s study in the Roundtable Hold. Talk to her and she gives you the Arsenal Charm.
- Find her near the Village of the Albinaurics. In Liurnia, Nepheli stands on the slope up to the Village of the Albinaurics. Talk to her until she is done. Her summon sign then appears past the bridge that leads to the Omenkiller. Beat the Omenkiller, with or without her.
- Get The Stormhawk King. At The Four Belfries, use an Imbued Sword Key (there is one in a chest near the Site of Grace) on the Sending Gate at the Precipice of Anticipation. It takes you back to the very start of the game. Get past the Grafted Scion and go through the door beside the Chapel of Anticipation that used to be shut. The Stormhawk King lies up on the rooftop.
- Comfort Nepheli at the Roundtable Hold. Once the Omenkiller is dead, Nepheli sits at the bottom of the stairs near Hewg, shaken and cast out by her father. Talk to her, then ask Gideon about her despair, and go back to her until she has nothing more to say. Now give her The Stormhawk King and talk to her again until she is done. This is the choice that keeps her story going.
- Help Kenneth Haight (optional). In Limgrave, Kenneth stands on a ruin near the Third Church of Marika and asks you to take back his fort. Kill the Godrick Knight in Fort Haight, return for the Erdsteel Dagger, accept his offer of knighthood and then talk to him again inside Fort Haight. None of this is needed for Nepheli’s ending, but it gives Kenneth’s appearance in the throne room some meaning.
- Free Gostoc from Godrick’s corpse. After you defeat Morgott, the Omen King, travel to the Godrick the Grafted Site of Grace in Stormveil. Talk to Gostoc until he runs out of words, then reload the area until he stops stomping on Godrick’s body and is gone.
- Visit the new lord of Limgrave. Go to the throne room of Stormveil Castle. Nepheli now sits there as its ruler, with Gostoc and Kenneth Haight nearby. Talk to her until she is done and she hands you an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. Gostoc also adds a second one to his shop.
- Call her one last time (optional). In Leyndell, Ashen Capital, her summon sign appears outside the fog gate of Godfrey, First Elden Lord, near the Queen’s Bed Chamber. Shabriri‘s sign can appear there too if you followed the stories of Hyetta and Yura.
Missable steps & failure conditions
- Talk to her before Godrick. If you beat Godrick without speaking to Nepheli in Stormveil first, she will not give you the Arsenal Charm.
- Seluvis’s Potion ends her story. If you have started Ranni’s questline and spoken with Preceptor Seluvis, you can give Nepheli Seluvis’s Potion at the Roundtable Hold. She becomes a puppet, her questline stops for good, and the Nepheli Loux Puppet goes on sale at Pidia‘s shop. Give her The Stormhawk King instead if you want her ending.
- The final step needs Morgott dead. Gostoc only leaves Godrick’s arena, and Nepheli only takes the throne, after you have defeated Morgott, the Omen King.
- Do not attack her. Killing Nepheli ends the questline, and she only drops her Stormhawk Axes.
Endings & consequences
- Nepheli becomes lord of Limgrave. She rules from the throne room of Stormveil Castle and promises to help you if you become Elden Lord.
- Gideon. Her story is a quiet break with Gideon, who casts her out after she turns on his men at the Village of the Albinaurics. See Gideon’s Questline for his side of it.
- Gostoc. Gatekeeper Gostoc becomes her attendant in the throne room, and his shop gains an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. More in Gostoc’s Questline.
- Kenneth Haight. Kenneth finds the worthy heir he was looking for in Nepheli. His own little story ends in the throne room too, whether or not you did his earlier steps.
- The puppet route. If you use Seluvis’s Potion, Nepheli’s own story ends at the Roundtable Hold and all you get is her puppet from Pidia.
